Hatsune Miku at Tsutenkaku Tower

通天閣×初音ミク Collaboration 2019

Hatsune Miku Exhibit at Tsutenkaku

8/9-9/30/2019. Admission is 800 yen for adults (400 for children). Near Shin-Imamiya station (JR Loop Line and the Nankai Line).

Hatsune Miku, the popular vocaloid "singer" software character has a special theme area and pop-up shop dedicated to her a Tsutenkaku, the landmark tower in Osaka, near Tennoji Station.

The pop-up shop is located in the "WakuWaku Land" gift-shop, ticket office and stage area in the basement of Tsutenkaku Tower. The pop-up shop sells T-shirts, clear file folder (600 yen for 4), posters, keychains and acrylic cut-outs with Miku images (2800 yen?!). You can visit this area for free.

The special Hatsune Miku display on the lower observation deck is part of the Tsutenkaku Tower admission ticket (800 yen) along with the middle observation deck (roof observation deck is an extra 500 yen), Tsutenkaku Museum, Kinukuman displays, Billiken displays, caricature artist booth, Glico snacks gift shop/rest area, Osaka-themed gift shop, Japanese garden (an EXCELLENT new feature, which is easily overlooked)
The Hatsune Miku area on the lower observation deck is best seen after sunset. It has 8 large images of Hatsune Miku on window decals in the "chibi" (cute, short-legged, child-like, cartoonish version) where is speaking various Kansai-bin phrases while stage lighting effects and reflective hologram tape and mirror balls add light effects to the display area while a few tracks of Hatsune Miku music plays over speakers. This adds to the usual view of Osaka offered by the 108m tall Tsutenkaku Tower.

 One of the "otaku" super fans of Hatsune Miku, who was also seen at the INTEX Magical Mirai concert earlier this month, was spotted with large display of his Hatsune Miku goods and Hatsune Miku wig in Tsutenkaku, placing himself in the center of the Miku-themed event.

@junmikup
I have seen these social calling cards from some other Miku super fans at the INTEX event.
Seems like a good idea for networking within specific circles.
