You seemed to like my previous post where I shared Placebo’s and particularly Brian’s preferences and demands while being on tour back in 2010. We all like this kind of personal ‘behind the scenes’ detailsπ Here I’ve got their rider in 2014, during Loud Like Love tour, for you to compare. To my taste, all the good things there are!π

On June 11, the shocking trio Placebo will arrive in Yekaterinburg. However, as KP journalists managed to find out, there’s only some scandalousness in the creative output of the band while in the rider of hot rockers, there was no place for a drop of alcohol. For example, here are excerpts from Placebo vocalist π©ππππ π΄ππππ's demands:
"3 large bottles of soda water (Perrier/San Pellegrino),
1 liter package of soy milk,
fruits (whole lemons, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, apples) no oranges,
1 whole fried chicken,
1 plate of Parma ham,
1 can of pickled cucumbers,
1 bottle of olive oil
1 loaf of whole wheat bread,
mix of nuts (cashews, almonds, walnuts, Brazil nuts),
4 muesli bars,
1 small tube of natural Manuka honey,
2 packs of vitamin B/C"
Well, for everyone to finally understand that Brian Molko is soft and fluffy, he asks for a bouquet of πππππ πππππππ to his room. Of the classic rock attributes, only cigarettes are present in Mr. Molko's rider. The singer asks for two packs - despite the fact that the concert will take place in the sports complex "Uralets" where smoking is strictly prohibited. But, perhaps, the foreign star decided to demonstrate his rebelliousness in this way.
Placebo are famous fashionistas so there’s no surprise that they ordered full-length πππππππ for their dressing rooms.
Good to see that guest performers don’t suffer from ‘star disease’. For example, the rider specifically states that the organizers must provide food for all their drivers.
For all the musicians (and as we’ve already found out, for their crew), Italian, Mediterranean, Indian, South African, and European cuisines are preferred. Looks like they’re actually omnivores.
And now, for you to compare, here’s the rider of πππ¨π«π©π’π¨π§π¬ in Yekaterinburg whose members are of the age of Placebo guys’ fathers.
